Our club meets twice a month, the first and third Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. We welcome anyone who has an interest in building any type of car, truck or motorcycle to join us. Thanks to the fine folks at Bill Collins Ford at 4220 Bardstown Road in Louisville Ky 40218, we use a conference room next to the service dept.
Thanks to all who helped to make the 22nd Derby City Shootout a success this year, they just keep getting better. I heard a lot of great comments. A special thanks to Jim Haught for coming to our show and taking pictures for Scale Auto magazine. I would have to say the future of modeling is looking very, very good.
UPDATE........Hey, can't wait for this years show? Well, hang on because it's gonna be great!!! Don't forget to mark your calendars for July 28th. It's always the last Saturday of July, and as last year admission is free.
The club build for this year is the Chevrolet Impala. Celebrating the 54th anniversary of it's introduction to the American public.
The club builds are NEVER judged by any of it's members. Instead, they are judged by popular vote of everyone who attends the show.
Jim Haught of Scale Auto Magazine will be here to take pictures.
Thanks to Jim and everyone who help to make our shows the best possible!
